     What is God asking you to do this year? Does it scare you? Is He asking you to do something that takes faith? He may be asking you to trust Him in your finances. How can we start tithing when the economy is so unstable? Faith. Are you living by faith? Or are you living by fear? God may be leading you to start a new job or go back to school or to start a ministry of some kind. You see all the dangers. You see all the opportunities for failure. You see potential for great pain in your life. It’s risky following God. But God says, “Fear not”. “Trust me’. Whatever it is that God has for you this year – or wherever He is leading you – remember that old adage, “God will never take you where His will can not keep you.”

     Indeed Ava Missionalry Baptist Church is looking forward to the Adventure Ahead.  At our business meeting the church voted to establish a building committee to investigate the possibilities of adding handicap bathrooms to the front of the church ,upgrading handicap access to our existing bathrooms + access to the sanctuary. Satan is not going to like this at all!!!! Also church officers were elected, a budget for 2009 was presented and approved. And Praise God no one is mad!!!!!

     The Holy Spirit moved in a mighty way during our morning worship service. During our time of Praise words of Testimony was heard from several people.  OH what a blessing.  One in particular, Esther Phoenix, said that Ava Missionary Baptist Church is FAMILY.  Oh what a blessing that was to me, so much so I can't get it out of my mind and quite possibly next Sundays Message will be FAMILY.
